SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) _ The president of Open Doors USA says Christians have been in Gaza since the time of Christ, but this is “their gravest hour.”
The Rev. Carl Moeller says the several thousand Palestinian Christians who haven’t already fled Gaza are now caught in crossfire between Israel and Hamas.
The 6-story Gaza Baptist Church, he says, has been severely damaged, and is likely being used as a vantage point by Israeli troops.
Moeller is urging prayers for Palestinian Christians to be respected as non-combatants, and for a quick end to the conflict so that relief can be sent to those in need.
