NASHVILLE, TN (AP) – An organization known for handing out Bibles is celebrating its 100th anniversary.  Gideons International has distributed close to 1.5 billion Scriptures since 1908.  The group started by putting Bibles in hotel rooms. Then in 1916 the Gideons started putting Bibles in hospitals, public schools, prisons, colleges and universities.  Now the ministry has 176,000 members.
