A listener recently wrote to tell us of an answered prayer…
“I went through a tough financial situation and I was really blessed by the Drive thru Difference!! Last month while I went for lunch I only had 6 dollars and the person ahead of me paid for my order. I was very excited, I even cried, so I called the radio station to tell my story and when I finished I ended up talking to the DJ about how my finances were not good at all and I was in the process of foreclosure of my home. Let me tell you that I loved the way he handled everything because he did not air my conversation with him about my home situation. So he offered to pray with me right there over the phone for this problem and that prayer alone made me feel more confident that God was moving in this matter. I give the honor and Glory to God, because just recently my husband and I got a letter saying we only have to pay the attorney’s fees and we can continue to make our payments with no problem!”
All of us at Life 97.9 have asked God for something very special this year: we are praying that God use our stations to reach many of our listeners, many for the first time with the life-changing message of love and hope found in Jesus Christ. We’re also praying that He will use our music and teaching to help many followers of Christ grow stronger in their faith. We look forward to see how He answers these prayers and moves mightily.
